Public outreach ►

The purpose of the project is to extend the life cycle of the I-95 bridge over Reymet Road by replacing its superstructure and rehabilitating other bridge components. The project will also increase the bridge’s vertical height clearance from 14 feet, 4 inches to at least 14 feet, 6 inches.

The original bridge was built in 1958 and reconstructed in 1990. The bridge is located between the Route 288 and Willis Road interchanges, and carries approximately 51,000 vehicles per direction each day. The segment of Reymet Road beneath the bridge carries approximately 2,300 vehicles per direction each day.

Benefits

The project will extend the life cycle of the I-95 bridge over Reymet Road and increase the bridge’s vertical height clearance to accommodate taller vehicles.
