At the intersection, Newington Road averages 6,100 vehicles a day and Cinder Bed Road averages 2,700.

Preliminary Engineering - $100,000
Right of Way Acquisition and Utility Relocation - $75,000
Construction - $455,000
Total - $630,000

This project is financed with county funding and a Locally Funded Agreement with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA).
