This project repaired the Alban Road (Route 790) bridge over Accotink Creek. The project included removing all deteriorated concrete and repairing with new concrete and reinforcing steel.
The bridge was originally built in 1950 and repaired in 1991. It carries about 10,700 vehicles a day.
The project was financed with state funding.
Benefits
This project improved safety and extended the overall life of the bridge.
